Short Bio

- Professional Experience

Currently, I am working as a Scientific Advisor - Economist at the Hellenic Parliamentary Budget Office. My work mostly focuses on labour market and macroeconomics. Previously, I was  a Scientific Expert - Economist at the Unit of Experts in Employment, Social Security, Welfare and Social Affairs of the Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Security. In the past, I was a Research Associate at the European Central Bank (Macroprudential Policy Division) contributing to the development of an integrated micro-macro model for the evaluation of the resilience benefits for EU households and banks of borrower-based macroprudential policies that is used by the ECB and the National CBs for policy design and practice. I have also worked at the Hellenic Army Pension Fund (Pension Policy Analyst in the Director General’s office), the Bank of Greece (External Researcher), and the Hellenic Ministry of Development and Investments (Junior Financial Analyst-Intern). 

 

- Academic Experience

Currently, I am an Adjunct Lecturer and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Athens University of Economics and Business,, where I actively teach courses in economics and finance. Over the years, I have taught the following courses:

In parallel, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, I conducted research on the macroeconomic implications of firm financing constraints during financial crises, with a focus on policy responses aimed at mitigating systemic vulnerabilities.
